MFA Founder & Director, Professor of Film at Brooklyn College/CUNY, writer-director-producer of four feature films: "ELLIS ISLAND: THE MAKING OF THE MASTER RACE IN AMERICA," 2016, "DUBAI: A CITY OF DREAMS," 2010, "NOBODY'S PERFECT," 2003, and "MATCH" ["MECZ"], 1988, as well as numerous short fiction films and documentaries. Tutak's work has been exhibited internationally in Belgium, Canada, China, Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Iran, Italy, New Zealand, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Switzerland and the United Kingdom, among other countries, as well as in the United Sates, including the Museum of Modern Art in New York City.

His cinematography credits include sixty films, among them: Harry Potter and Order of Phoenix (2006), King Arthur (2003),  BLACK HAWK DOWN (2001),  Three Colours: Blue, and THE DOUBLE LIFE OF VERONIQUE. Collaborated with many outstanding directors and actors, including Ridley Scott, Antoine Fuqua, David Yates, Krzysztof Kieslowski, Meg Ryan, Russel Crow, Clive Oven, Ralph Fiennese, and Josh Hartnett.

Her credits include writing & directing  thirty feature films, including "THE SECRET GARDEN”, her first Hollywood studio production starring Maggie Smith, WASHINGTON  SQUARE, a Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer production starring Jennifer Jason Leigh & Albert Finney, TOTAL ECLIPSE starring  Leonardo DiCaprio & David Thewlis, THE THIRD MIRACLE starring Ed Harris & Anne Heche, and many others. She collaborated with prominent American and European directors: Francis Ford Coppola [THE SECRET GARDEN], Sydney Pollack, Krzysztof Kieslowski [WHITE, RED, BLUE], and Andrzej Wajda [DANTON starring Gerard Depardieu].

​After finishing studies in Classics and Comparative Literature at University Paris IV - Sorbonne, and completing a 3 year experience of teaching French in Paris Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi, Yann Seweryn entirely dedicates himself to film-making and enters the Polish National Film School in Lodz in Cinematography Department. He's currently finishing his M.A. Degree, and has already shot around 30 films as a director of photography, including one feature film. "La etiuda", a movie that he wrote and shot as a DOP, won the 2nd award in the Polish Short Film Competition in New Horizons International Film Festival in Wroclaw, Poland in 2015.

Write-director and painter. Graduate of the City College CUNY. His first short film "Hands" screened at the Girls Impact The World Film Festival at Harvard University. His most recent medium lenght film "The God of Small Things," a Bengali-U.S.-Polish co-production, won "Best Film" at the Reel City Film Festival in New York. It also won "Best Screenplay" and "Best Cinematography" and was nominated for "Best Picture," "Best Directing," and "Best Editing" at the CUNY Film Festival in New York, April 2017. The film screened at Marche du Film, Festival du Cannes, May 2017.
